ZigBee™-Ready (802.15.4-compliant)
single chip
ZigBee/IEEE802.15.4 IC Series
ZigBee is a
published specification set of high level communication
protocols designed to use small, low power digital radios
based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal
area networks (WPANs).
The relationship between IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee 1.0
specifications were ratified on December 14,2004,and are
available to members o the ZigBee Alliance.

UZ2400
The UZ2400 is a single-chip solution for IEEE802.15.4
specification . It integrates wireless RF transceiver
operating at 2.4 GHz, PHY layer baseband and MAC layer
architecture.
UZ2400 provides SPI interface
and can be controlled by various microprocessor such as 8051
to apply in low rate wireless applications that include home
automation , consumer electronics ,PC peripherals , toys ,
industrial automation , and more. With system supports of
driver and 802.15.4 protocol stack provided , users can
easily develop applications of their own.
ZigBee technology
ZigBee was created to address the market need for a
cost-effective, standards-based wireless networking solution
that supports low data rates, low power consumption,
security and reliability. ZigBee is defining both star and
mesh network topologies, a variety of security features
interoperable application profiles.
